Big Week – New Buttonholes

This is a big week for Freshly Found.
Why?

Because we will be launching some new products at 2 amazing pop-up shops in Durban this weekend.

These buttonholes will be at both the Miss+Meisie Showcase and The i-love pop-up shop.

Mini Strelitzias and Mini Peace Lilies – Both are copies of indigenous flowers, made of recycled materials and an eco-alternative accessory for weddings and functions.

Freshly Found at artSPACE Pop Up

We are really looking forward to being part of the I Love Pop Up Shop again.  Gen Motley is hosting the event in the Millar Road artSPACE -the cool gallery housed in a warehouse in a light industrial area in Durban.

The special opening is on Monday night at 6.30pm.  A host of Durban creatives will be there.  The shop will be open until the 15th June.
See you there! RSVP here

Vintage Finery

It’s been so much fun – sourcing, decorating and repairing vintage clothes for the i-love pop-up-shop at the Galleria.  I love the creative variety of challenges and delivered another huge batch today.

I am always delighted to have an excuse to crochet!  These coloured straps replaced faulty ones on this bright stripe dress top

And if this red coat had been my size, it would definitely have stayed right here – at home with me!

Freshly Found Snapshots

A Spring update of Freshly Found happenings:

  • This weekend: So excited to be part of the i love pop up shop at the Galleria in Amamzintoti.  Organised by Gen Motley and together with delightful Durban Creatives – Let’s hope it’s the first of many!
  • Impromptu book paper decor for my studio window.  Some of my greatest ideas come about when I’m supposed to be doing something else – like getting ready for the i♥market! Thanks to those of you who braved the hectic weather to be there♥

Other quick pics:

  • Mosbolletjies from our local Woolies bakery have become a family favourite.
  • We have very very tall mystery tree in our garden that drops these beautiful pink blooms each spring:
  • Beautiful bright pink roses from a friend and
  • palm-fold serviettes for guests.
Delightful vintage finds
  • bag FULL of delicate crochet lace and
  • gorgeous botanical print book

Have a wonderful week!
